Joining UOTC
If you are interested in joining us, you should first check whether you are eligible to join. Below is a list of our current requirements to join UOTC.
Nationality
You must be either a British Citizen, a Citizen of the Irish Republic or a member of the Commonwealth with Indefinite Leave to Remain (this doesn’t include Student Visas).
Medical Conditions
Unfortunately some illnesses and conditions could delay, defer or even be a bar to joining UOTC. Therefore, you will undergo a full-service entry medical and we request your medical history from your GP during the enlistment process.
Below is the current list of disqualifying medical conditions (these are subject to change).
Education
You must be enrolled in a Higher Education course at University or College. You will have to prove this during the selection and documentation process.
Age
You must be over 18 years old to join UOTC.
