Sixty-six Regular and Reserve Army personnel are recognised in the Military Division of the New Year Honours List 2025, which incorporates the Operational Honours and Awards List, announced in the London Gazette.
Exemplary leadership, extraordinary personal commitment and professional excellence are just some of the qualities cited during another very busy year for the British Army.
Honours are being awarded for duty and operations at home and overseas during the last 12-24 months.
Exceptional individuals are cited for outstanding achievements including co-ordinating the evacuation operation in Sudan, training Medics and Marines of the Ukraine Armed Forces, and establishing counter-UAS (Uncrewed Arial Systems) capability in Iraq to name just a few.
Defence Secretary John Healey said: "I am incredibly proud to celebrate the remarkable achievements of our Armed Forces men and women, whose dedication to service, courage, and excellence are nothing short of inspirational. Each individual recognised in this year's Honours List has faced immense challenges with outstanding professionalism and bravery, whether serving in the most demanding environments abroad or supporting our communities here at home.
"These exceptional individuals represent the very best of our Armed Forces, and on behalf of the Ministry of Defence, I extend my deepest congratulations and sincere gratitude to all those recognised today."
