You may have noticed that as of today (October 1) we have a new website.
Through sharing vital information, to be accessed by everyone, this investment will support our strategic goals.
It will help us continue to be the Army the Nation needs and that NATO wants, modernising and always recruiting.
The new site includes:
- An entirely fresh design with a modernised brand at its heart.
- Easier journeys to find what you need, whether that’s more info about regiments and corps, or how to join the Army.
- New, interactive features to bring our purpose to life and immerse our audiences in the Army’s web storytelling like never before.
- Refreshed, updated content.
- Aiming for a minimum accessibility standard of WCAG 2.2 AA.
Putting you first
In the past 12 months, our previous site attracted around 15 million visitors, and most of them were using mobile phones to view it.
You – our real website visitors - were the priority throughout the planning and design of this new mobile-optimised site.
We took a scientific, user-led design approach, making decisions based on live testing with members of the public, and data. Information will be easier to find than ever before, with simplified menus.
