The Sandhurst Medal
The Sandhurst Medal was introduced in 2016 to recognise the extraordinary achievement of those International Cadets who successfully complete the Regular Commissioning Course at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS). In 2022, the Sandhurst Medal was extended to include those International Cadets, successfully completing the Commissioning Course Short (CCS).
The recipients of the Sandhurst Medal join an esteemed list of over 5,400 International Alumni from over 129 different countries.
Each year over 120 medals are awarded by the Commandant to International Cadets on each course. Alumni who commissioned before 2016 are able to purchase the Sandhurst Medal from the Sandhurst Trust.
