The Honourable Artillery Company Band

The Honourable Artillery Company Band performs at high-profile and prestigious events in the City of London and across the UK. The band takes part in marching ceremonies, has a symphonic concert band, orchestra and small ensembles that perform at many illustrious occasions.

Our Heritage

The Honourable Artillery Company is the oldest regiment in the British Army, based at Finsbury Barracks in the City of London since 1641. In 1830 King William IV ordered that the Honourable Artillery Company should wear a uniform of the Grenadier Guards but silver lace not gold, silver buttons and no plume in their bearskin cap.

UK Engagements

The Band's functions are an integral part of the City of London today. The Salon Orchestra supports events with the Lord Mayor of London at the Mansion House and Guildhall. The marching Band features at the Lord Mayor's Show. The band has also had the honour of performing at the Proclamation of Accession of Charles III at the Royal Exchange in 2022.

Overseas Engagement

The Band performs overseas, taking part in ceremonial and embassy events. Recent tours include Belgium, Italy and Pakistan.
