Headquarters Royal Army Physical Training Corps - Aldershot
Headquarters Royal Army Physical Training Corps is located within Fox Lines, Aldershot, which is also home to the Army School of Physical Training and Headquarters Army Sports Control Board.
Get DirectionsMusculoskeletal (MSKI) is the primary cause of medical down grading and discharge from the Army. Some soldiers may get injured during training and preparation for the modern battlefield or sport and adventure training.
Warrant Officer Class Two Saskia Fisher and Staff Sergeant Lisa Bowen share their advice and guidance on injury prevention as healthy soldiers are less prone to injury.
Royal Army Physical Training Corps Instructors (RAPTCIs) generally serve as detached personnel within most units across the Army. They are tasked by their Commanding Officers with the responsibility of maintaining the physical fitness of their soldiers in preparation for Military Operations. This requires a high level of knowledge and experience in order to design and implement a physical training regime which complements the Unit role and training cycle.
In addition to their physical training specialisation, RAPTCIs also have the opportunity to specialise in Adventurous Training and Exercise Rehabilitation.
