We believe that our soldiers are the best collection of tradespeople in the Corps of Royal Engineers.

Our soldiers attain the latest civilian qualifications and competencies, followed by the opportunities to deploy worldwide to practice and hone their skills. They deploy in small teams to remote locations to act as advisers and to ensure built infrastructure is safe and meets British standards.

Very few soldiers in the Army are entrusted with such responsibilities, or to conduct and complete complex infrastructure projects from such an early start in their careers.
