We are 103 Battalion Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers: reservist Engineers keeping the Army's kit ready for action.
Our role is to provide trained soldiers and officers to deploy on military operations, working alongside the Regular Army. 103 Battalion's men and women have deployed in support of recent operations in Afghanistan, Iraq, Cyprus, The Balkans and all over the United Kingdom. 103 Battalion regularly travels overseas, to conduct military exercises or for adventure training. Our men and women go skiing in France every year and have carried out technical training in Canada, Germany and Kenya. 103 Battalion has Regional Companies all cross the south. Why not come and visit us on a Tuesday training night.
We are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic men and women with an engineering mindset. You must be prepared to transform your spare time by undertaking challenging, exciting and rewarding work, in return for making new friends and getting paid for your commitment.
We will provide you structured and progressive engineering trade training (which will contribute to civilian qualifications), soldiering skills and the opportunity to take in paid sports and team building events. You don’t need to have previous military or engineering experience to join us, but if you do you should consider becoming a member of one of our three National Increment Companies.
If you like the sound of what we do then you sound like our kind of person. For more details, or to visit us and get a firsthand view of what life in REME TA is like, contact us. Tel: 01293 586 426 Email: 103REME-BHQ-ROSO@mod.uk
