'Horsepower in Reserve'

We are 103 Battalion REME: Reserve Engineers for London and the South East of England; Army Reservists keeping the Army's Vehicles and Equipment ready for action.

Our role within the Army is to provide trained soldiers and officers to deploy on military operations, working alongside the Regular Army to provide inspection, maintenance, modification, repair and recovery of all the Army’s equipment wherever the Army is deployed in all conditions.

103 Battalion has Companies in London and the South East of England. Why not come and visit us on a Tuesday training night between 7:30 – 9:30 PM or email them for more information.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic men and women with an engineering mindset between the ages of 18 - 50 (53 for Ex Regular Soldiers).

Whoever you are, whatever your career or ambitions, being a Reservist can help you make more of your spare time. There is a wide range of jobs on offer and you can expect top-class training whichever one you choose. The men and women of the Army Reserve now work routinely alongside their Regular Army partners in training and on operations. You’ll find a great team spirit, along with opportunities to travel and take part in sport and adventurous training. Plus you will be paid for every day you train and can qualify for an annual bonus for completed training each year.

There are a wide variety of trades available: Vehicle Mechanics, Metalsmiths, Armourers, Recovery Mechanics, Technical Support Specialists, Staff Personal Support, Medics and Chefs.
