The day consisted of an opening address by Brigadier WSC Wright OBE (Commander of Sandhurst), then Andy McNab gave a talk on the importance of education. Finally, Alex Paterson, former senior Army Cadet Force Drum Major with the Pipes and Drums, gave an inspiring speech on how cadets changed her life for the better and gave her purpose.

The students were then divided into groups and conducted three different workshops, both military and civilian.

The teachers and facilitators also had a lunch in the impressive Officers' Mess in New College.
