Timings (for both days)
The event is free of charge. All we request is for schools to arrange their own transport, and that students and teachers bring their own lunch and drinks for the day.
There is not the facility for students or teachers to purchase food on the base. There are toilets onsite and there will be additional Portaloos on the day.
We ask that schools check weather conditions in the days prior to the event.
In the event of hot/sunny weather: students & teachers must bring the necessary items they will need to keep them safe in the sun including hats, sun cream and water bottles.
In the event of colder/rainy weather: students & teachers must come with raincoats. Cover from the elements will be available at lunchtime and the majority of the stands will be held under marquees. There will be a first aid available on the day.
You will receive an email two weeks before the event with your tickets and your car pass. The car pass will show the gate through which you can enter the camp (there are two separate gates). You must enter and leave the camp through the gate shown on your pass.
Vehicles can be parked at Sandhurst during the event free of charge. If you are bringing more than one vehicle, please let us know in advance.
There will be photographers attending this event and, as such, all children must have consent forms (completed by a parent/guardian) as to whether or not they can feature in photographs.
Those wishing not to be photographed will be given a wristband and all efforts will be made not to photograph them. This form will be released and sent to schools closer to the time.
We will also send schools a copy of the insurance and liability documents from our military stands and our corporate partners. This will also be sent at a date closer to the event.
