RMAS STEM 20
On the 24th and 25th September 2020 our flagship STEM careers fair will be returning to the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. RMAS STEM 20 will aim to showcase the plethora of opportunities available in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths careers to more young people than ever before.
More information will be made available closer to the event so keep an eye on this page!
The Showcase was a fantastic opportunity, it really opened my eyes to the opportunities open to me when I leave School Lucy, Dauntsey School
Thank you to everyone that attended RMAS 19! In particular, thank you to all our industry partners for making RMAS STEM 19 possible.
The event this year was a huge success. Around 2000 young people joined us, up from 900 last year, to see an even greater array of opportunities in STEM, from App building with Microsoft to bridge building with Balfour Beattie.
Without the support and enthusiasm of teachers, partners and attendees this event would not have been a success.
The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst STEM Careers Fair was first showcased in 2018 as a one-day event which sought to show young women the opportunities available to them in STEM fields.
This year, with a two-day event, we kept the all-female day as well as inviting co-ed schools to attend on the second day of the event.
This maintained the goal of the original event, whilst at the same time opening the opportunity to explore STEM careers to a wider and more diverse audience which resulted in an inclusive and stimulating event for all.
First All Female Parachute display
As part of the event this year the Army's first all-female parachute display team dropped on to the lawn in front of Old College.
The inspiring team included women from the Royal Logistics Corps and the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers who have exciting STEM careers.
