DCLPA

The Defence College of Logistics, Policing and Administration is based at Worthy Down Campus near Winchester in Hampshire. Formed in 2002 it is the Centre of Excellence providing training to personnel from the Royal Navy, Army and Royal Air Force.

How to get there

By car: The postcode for satnav users is SO21 2RG

Rail: Trains depart regularly from Waterloo.  Trainees should get off at Winchester station.  The journey takes approximately 65 minutes.

Station Transport:  A daily service (Mon-Fri), running between the Guardroom, ATR Winchester Med Centre, Winchester hospital and Winchester train station, is available to Service Personnel attending courses at Worthy Down. Trainees requiring transport to/from Winchester Train Station should contact Aspire Transport Services in advance on BT 01962 887603, MOD 94271 7603. 

Taxi Service:  Favourable taxi rates have been agreed with Wessex Cars - 01962 877749 and Wintax - 01962 878727. Taxis are not allowed on site so pickup/drop-off is at the main gate only. The special rate is £10 each way between Winchester Train Station and Worthy Down Entrance Gate, £15 after 2300 hrs. There is also a free taxi service available to Phase 2 Trainees.  Please speak to your instructor for more details on arrival.
