Divisional Fires Regiment
26th Regiment Royal Artillery is the Army’s Divisional Fires Regiment. Equipped with the Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) and EXACTOR 2, the new Regiment delivers precision strike munitions out to 84km in support of the Iron Division.

Our Skills
Strike – Fire precision rockets into the Divisional Deep Battlespace up to 84km from launcher to target using a variety of munitions.
Targeting – Identify, analyse, plan, and prosecute strikes on targets to achieve shaping and decisive effects on the battlefield.
Communications – Become an expert in operating cutting-edge technology.
Logistics – Facilitate all of the above, ensuring the Regiment has the ammunition, fuel, protective equipment, and sustaining supplies to fight an extended campaign.

Our Location
Following 30 years in Gutersloh, Germany, the Regiment have moved to Larkhill, Wiltshire.
19 (Gibraltar 1779-1783) Battery, 132 Battery (The Bengal Rocket Troop) and 176 (Abu Klea) Battery who were located at Albemarle Barracks, near Newcastle have also moved to Larkhill, consolidating the Divisional Fires Regiment in a single location for the first time.
Though it was poignant for us to leave Germany and Newcastle, our new barracks in Purvis Lines, Larkhill, is purpose built for us with state of the art facilities as part of a new Super-Garrison.

The Battery which each soldier becomes a member of acts as a large part of their identity in 26th Regiment Royal Artillery. Our Batteries are currently:
