Our sub units meet around the country once a week and there are planned weekend training and exercises.

We ai to give value to the Army and to the individuals who join us.

Sport with the Battalion

Sport and Adventure Training activities are equally important in ‘The Steelbacks’.

As an Army Reservist you are entitled and able to get involved with the same level of sport and adventure training packages as a Regular Soldier or Officer.

This can include, team sports, skiing, sailing, canoeing, mountaineering, trekking and many more activities. These activities add skills to you and also add value to the Battalion in your development as a soldier and leader.

Being an Army Reservist is exciting and can open doors to new opportunities and challenges.
