Soldier Information

Whether serving on operations, deployed on a training exercise, a casualty in a road traffic accident or diagnosed with a serious illness, Service personnel can suffer a wounding, injury, or illness that may have a long-term impact on their lives and ability to continue their career.

From the point of injury or diagnosis, your mission changes from your Army role to recovering so that ultimately when you have finished your treatment you can either return to duty or if this is not possible, transition to civilian life.

The recovery journey is different for each wounded, injured or sick soldier, but includes the same milestones for everyone:
