Education facilities

The Infantry Battle School (IBS) has four lecture theatres, each of which can seat between 140-150 people and have integrated audio and visual facilities.

Additionally, an Army Learning Centre is available to all serving military and civilian personnel and their dependants. The centre offers a number of courses ranging from numeracy to the advanced European Computer Driving Licence qualification.

A Study Centre is open to all staff and students at the IBS. It provides a quiet place to work, read or study. The library has an excellent collection of military books, military DVDs, fiction/non-fiction books, along with audio books and language courses. There are also Internet-connected computers and military periodicals/magazines to browse.

The Study Centre also offers a research service for those preparing information for a presentation, coursework or lecture.
