Medical facilities

The Medical Reception Station (MRS) Brecon is a 24-hour facility.

During working hours it has clinics run by the doctor, practice nurse and physiotherapists, with weekly visits by a dental team from Chepstow. It also runs an Audio Clinic to monitor the status of patients.

During silent hours, the MRS is staffed by at least one nurse and a healthcare assistant. Doctors’ input can be obtained by staff through an out-of-hours civilian support contract.

MRS Brecon is also responsible for the administration of routine vaccinations required by recruits.
