The padre’s main role is the spiritual and moral welfare of all people in the garrison. He is also responsible for contributing to the well-being of the garrison.

At Bovington, one of the padre’s priorities is the welfare of Phase 2 recruits. Every member of the military community has the right of access to the padre at all times, and confidentiality is maintained on all matters.
