Army Insight Course

The British Army in Yorkshire and the North East of England provide an Army 'Look at Life' course aimed at 17.9-35 year olds.  Learn new skills, meet new like-minded people and grab your chance to Be The Best!

The Army “Look at Life” or "Be The Best” 3.5 day residential course is totally free.  It also offers a guaranteed interview for the Army Reserve, so you won't lose any Job Seekers Allowance (JSA) whilst on the course.

For those who are aged 17 years and nine months to 35 years, and not in education, employment or training - we offer the chance to learn all about the modern Army.  On this course, you'll gain skills for life in an informative learning environment, with outward-bound type activities, careers advice and information sessions.

Each Army Reserve insight course starts at 8am with pick up from a local Army Reserve Centre, transport to a training venue in North Yorkshire and whilst there, you will get fed and accommodated - and it's all free!
