UK operations

All military operations within the UK fall under the generic title of UK Ops, which comprises the Armed Forces' response to a wide range of contingencies and emergencies during peace, periods of tension and crisis and war.

For the majority of UK operations, the command structure will utilise the Army's regional divisional and brigade structure and HQ 1 Artillery Bde and HQ South West has delegated responsibility for issues in the South West region.

Comd HQ 1 Artillery Bde and HQ South West will act as the Senior Military Commander for UK Operations. All units are to be prepared to deploy force elements and sustain operations across the spectrum of conflict and within the context of UK Operations.

Provide the Tri-Service Headquarters UK Operations throughout the South West. In particular coordinate training to improve command control during the mounting of Operations in the Brigade Area of Operations should the need arise.
