Canterbury welcomes the Princess of Wales's Royal Regiment

The 3rd Battalion, Princess of Wales’s Royal Regiment heralded the Yuletide season with their now traditional Christmas Carol Service held within the magnificent setting that is Canterbury Cathedral.

The service commenced with the Regimental colours ceremonially marched down the nave to the tune of Minden Rose the regimental slow march.

Music was provided by the Band of the Princess of Wales’s Royal Regiment who were accompanied by children from choirs of local schools, Wickambreaux and Spring Grove.

The service was conducted by the Archdeacon of Canterbury, Jo Kelly-Moore and the Battalion’s Padre, Simon Rowlands. Readings were provided by the battalion’s highest and lowest ranks - Private Megan Arpin and the Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Colonel Brennan Dwyer.
