Exercise Snow Jack is the annual snowboarding championship where soldiers and officers from across the Army compete against each other in several snowboarding disciplines.
This year, over 40 competitors are battling it out, both as teams and individuals. They will participate in three challenging and exciting events; Snowboard Cross, Slope Style and Parallel Giant Slalom.
Snowboard Cross sees four competitors race down a route of jumps and banked-turns in a knockout series of races. Whereas Slope Style is all about getting air and performing tricks. Finally, Parallel Giant Slalom is another series of knockout races where they race against another snowboarder down two identical parallel courses. They need to focus on finding the perfect line to beat their opponent.
