The British Army’s contribution to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Army at the Fringe presents new theatre productions about the British Army and society. The shows by a variety of different artists are supported by the British Army in Scotland Engagement Team who lead a team of nationally recruited officer cadets.

Army at the Fringe first opened its doors in Hepburn House, an Army Reserve Centre in Edinburgh’s New Town in August 2017. With an ambition to spark conversations about who we are, what The British Army is, and what it stands for in 21st Century society, the event has built a considerable reputation for innovative and engaging programming over the last seven years.
