British Army Brass Band

The British Army Brass Band was formed in 2007 from the finest brass and percussion players across the Corps of Army Music and the Reserve Army Bands.

It was conceived out of a desire for many of the Army's musicians to revisit their musical roots in the brass band genre. The band, already with a fine reputation, has performed at several prestigious brass band events, concerts and radio programs including:

  • Listen to the Band (BBC Radio 2)
  • GMR Brass (BBC Radio Manchester)
  • Time for Brass (Manx Radio)
  • Sounds of Brass (BBC Radio Jersey)
  • National Brass Band Finals (Harrogate)
  • Pontins Brass Band Championships (Prestatyn)

They have reached the top ten in the All Brass Band Radio several times, including a number one spot, with their debut recording.
