Brass bands

The Corps of Army Music has three professional brass bands.

The Corps of Army Music (CAMUS) has three full time professional brass bands the only professional brass bands in the UK.

The brass bands are based at Weeton near Preston, RAF Cosford in the Midlands and St Athan in South Wales.

The brass bands retain the traditional marching band capability and specialise in traditional heritage music of the military and brass band world.

The introduction of dedicated professional brass bands to the British Army allows CAMUS to recruit from an untapped pool of musicians which will ensure a more resilient and sustainable structure and will in fact be the first professional brass bands in the UK.

If you are interested in joining to be in one of the new British Army professional brass bands then get in touch with us to find out more.
