Sport is an important part of Army life. It not only makes RADC soldiers mentally and physically robust, but helps develop qualities like leadership and the ability to work in a team.
The RADC participates in a wide range of different sports, and soldiers of all abilities, both Regular and Reserve, are encouraged to pursue a sporting interest. RADC soldiers have competed at Army Medical Services, Army and even Tri-service levels in various sports, but there are also many opportunities to try something new.

RADC soldiers take part in Athletics at all levels. From attending the Army Medical Services Athletics Training camp in Portugal to competing in the Army athletics team, there is something for everyone.

Whether competing as part of the Army Medical Services or in one of the regional events, there are many events during the athletics season. The RADC also have a strong Cross-Country running tradition, often winning Army Medical Services titles.
