Enlistment process

Joining the Parachute Regiment as a soldier or officer will make you part of the ultimate team. Here's how the application and selection process works.

Pegasus or 'P' Company

P Company is a series of tests. Candidates will be expected to run, march and carry dead weights between 1-10 miles. Test Week comprises of 7 events over 4 & a half days. 7 are scored, 1 (Trainasium) is a straight pass/fail. Each event is designed to assess a candidates physical fitness, mental robustness and determination. A candidate who fails to display the appropriate level of self discipline and motivation throughout the week will fail.
