Regimental Journal

The Yorkshire Regiment Journal is issued to all serving personnel in the regiment who subscribe to the Day's Pay Scheme. It is published in Spring and Autumn for an annual £10 subscription.

Army Reserve (formerly Territorial) soldiers, retired personnel and supporters who wish to subscribe to the Journal should do so by completing the Standing Order Mandate Form and returning it to the Journal Editor. The latest edition will be dispatched direcly to your home. Individual or additonal copies are available from our Museum shop or by contacting Regimental Headquarters,York.

If you wish to contribute an article or letter, send it to the Journal Editor (preferably via email) at least one month prior to publication (1st September or 1st March deadline). Please read "Guidance Notes for Journal Contributors" regarding the correct format of submissions.

Advertisers should contact the Journal Editor to discuss terms and conditions.

Days Pay Scheme
Serving personnel who have not yet completed a Day Pay Scheme form, or cannot access the JPA system, can download and complete the JPA E014 form. When complete, this should be sent to your parent Battalion or to the Regimental Secretary at Regimental Headquarters, York.

Copies of previous editions, dating back to the first issue in 2006, are available in limited quantities. Contact our Museum shops (York and Richmond) or Regimental Headquarters, York.

Contributors are strongly advised to read the Guidance Notes for Journal Contributors before submitting copy.

Frequently encountered problems are the failure to format text using the correct font/size, incorrectly referenced photographs and titles and most importantly NEVER embed photographs in documents - send them as seperate, clearly labelled attachments.
