Sport and Adventurous Training

Sport in the Army Air Corps is considered an important part of daily life. It is included in routine fitness training and Units hold regular sporting events throughout the year. Adventurous Training is a valuable addition to formal military training as it enhances an individual's ability to withstand the rigours of operations and rapid deployment.

Sport is critically important to the morale, welfare and operational effectiveness of Army personnel.

Access to advenurous training is open to all service personnel, including the injured and disabled who are able to participate through the Battle Back initiative.
