Sport and adventurous training

Sports and adventurous training is not only fantastic for officers and soldiers to take an active part in, it's also an extremely important part of Army life. Sport and adventure training in the Army helps to develop teamwork, leadership, fitness, initiative and endurance.

Opportunities to travel

There are few sports or adventure-training pursuits that the Army does not do and the majority provide added opportunities to travel to new and interesting places all over the world.

The Royal Wessex Yeomanry actively encourages its officers and soldiers to take part in and pursue those sports and adventure pursuits that are of interest to them when the opportunities to do so are presented.
