Youth & Community Support
The Army Welfare service works hand in hand with local communities to deliver exciting opportunities for service families, and in particular young people.
Community centres, pre-school groups, youth clubs, school holiday activities, learning opportunities - these are just some of the services the Army Welfare Service provides. However, none of these things would be possible without help from both the Army community and the surrounding local commuinties. There are lots of opportunities to work with young people both in sport and community activities. Training is provided which can lead to qualifications in Youth & Community work.
See your local Community Worker and volunteer to support your community. You can find the address of your local Army Welfare Service Office or Community Centre in your local Service Community Guide.
