Training to leave

As a soldier you will receive resettlement advice and information to assist you to prepare for, and find, suitable civilian employment following your Service career.

Every soldier has to return to civilian life one day and you will get a resettlement package to help you, including advice and information to help you to prepare for, and find, suitable civilian employment when your Army career ends. The resettlement package includes professional careers support and financial assistance.

Even before you leave you may decide to change your career path. There are many opportunities to transfer to another regiment or corps, particularly to some of the service support corps.
