Independent Advisory Panel
As with the all the Army's training establishments, an Independent Advisory Panel (IAP) exists for ATFC Winchester.
The panel provides an independent source of advice, encouragement and support. It exchanges information, provides feedback and assists in identifying possible areas for improvement at ATFC Winchester.
The IAP also acts as a route for external communication and promotes the Army's reputation locally. Additionally, it acts as a source of feedback on local issues.
The panel does not override the Army principle of self-regulation which is vested in the Commanding Officer and the higher chain of command. It also does not have responsibility for budgets, objective setting, policy or staff selection.
The panel meets regularly and also undertakes individual activity visits. Its most recent report can be downloaded on the right.
