Welfare

Recruits at ATR Bassingbourn receive a welfare briefing
Welfare Team
ATR Bassingbourn has a Welfare Officer who is responsible to the Commanding Officer for the support, assistance and welfare advice given to all recruits, permanent staff and their dependants. We also have two Welfare Clerks who can be contacted on 01223 204307.
The Unit Welfare Team is available to provide practical support and advice to all recruits and their families. They work closely with all primary and secondary level welfare agencies in order to signpost personnel for the right advice and information in dealing with their concerns.
Welfare Services
Welfare Services offers support to service personnel in the Memphis Belle leisure complex. The majority of their work at ATR Bassingbourn is offering the opportunity for recruits to talk to members of the organisation about problems that they may be having throughout their Phase One training. They can also provide recruits with a relaxed, social environment where they can take a break from the military regime.
Faith Support
Faith support is available for all. This support is confidential and outside of the chain of command. We have two Chaplains and recruits are welcome to call in for a chat whether something is troubling them, they have a faith related question, or they just want to say hello and have a cup of coffee. Chaplains provide support to all, regardless of faith, and can be contacted at All Saints Church and Chaplaincy Centre.
