Training Support Company

Training Support Company is a part of Specialist Weapons School.  The Company comprises of four Platoons that concentrate on supporting all command courses in their different disciplines, within Waterloo Lines.  

The four categories of support are: 

  • B+E Drivers and Signallers 
  • C+E Drivers
  • Assault Pioneers
  • Communication Planning & Crypto Material management 

Each Platoon is commanded by at least one WO2 and manned by Sgts and CSgts selected as SMEs from the Field Army.


Key responsibilities for the Company are as follows:

1. Provide TCV support
2. Provide transportation of all stores and equipment
3. Provide secure communications between exercising Troops and Trainers
4. Support to all exercises within Waterloo Lines and Salisbury plain AOR with the following:
Bowman communications plans
Communication electronic instruction (CEI)
Provide Crypto and devices to all Divisions
Advice to all Divisions on Crypto matters
5.  Provision of Engineering support and advice where needed
6.
Battle Noise simulation
7.
Water Safety organisation
8.
Provision of Pioneer/Engineer stores in support of courses
