15 (North East) Brigade

15 (North East) Brigade trains and administers over 10,500 Regular and Reserve soldiers and is the largest regional brigade covering an area equivalent to the size of Belgium with a population of over 8 million.

UK Operations

The Brigade has training, emergency planning and home defence roles. It also liaises with police, fire and ambulance services in 33 local authorities.

In recent years the Brigade has provided support to the region in dealing with floods, disease outbreak and provision of emergency fire-fighting.
