Exercise Midnight Sun
Exercise Midnight Sun is the Royal Signals Territorial Army exercise to Greenland. It is the biggest ever TA expedition and runs from 2 - 31 August 2008 in two consecutive two-week phases.
More than 80 personnel from all units within the Royal Signals TA (including attached Arms) will test their skills in mountaineering, sailing and sea-kayaking in the remote wilderness of Greenland. The Army communications specialists will also work alongside members of the BT Emergency Response Team who will set up a bespoke communications system that will be put through its paces by the Royal Signals as they carry out their exercise.
