The Royal Corps of Signals has its own Yacht Club, providing opportunities to sail offshore, in dinghies and/or to windsurf.  Our own cruising yachts are available for charter to members at very preferential rates. The Corps is strongly represented by sailors in various successful sailing teams.  Royal Signals officers and soldiers have sailed in competitive events ranging from the Whitbread Round the World Race to numerous World, European and class Championships.   Others have sailed, almost literally, to the ends of the earth on adventurous expeditions.

Those who wish to sail, whether novice or expert, will be strongly encouraged to do so.  Training is provided and qualifications awarded to those who wish to progress.  Club Membership is open to all serving and retired members of the Corps and their families.  Membership opportunities and benefits can also be extended to others who have particular links with Royal Corps of Signals units.
