201 Sqn Mission

Conduct all necessary recuperation, HFT and MST on ISAF and national CIS in order to deploy as HQ RC(x) Sig Sqn and KBL ICS Tp in 2010.

Sqn Tasks

1.  Become SME in 2, 3 and 4* CIS/ICS support, including all UK FE locations in KBL.
2.  Increase engagement and understanding of IM/IX, C5ISTAR and AMN applications.
3.  Prepare all KSU FEs for their role in Kabul (KBL) in 2011.
    BPT support RAAT/GTST bids for other 1 (UK) Armd Div formations and units.

MISSION

“To deploy robust CIS for other 1 (UK) Armd Div formations and units in order to allow them to effectively and efficiently prepare for operational deployments”

TASKS

a.  To maintain a level of readiness commensurate with the operational tempo;  
b.  To ensure that the maximum amount of personnel are driver trained;
c.  Maximise Trg opportunities on Bowman systems;
d.  BPT to provide real life support to 1 (UK)

Eagle Troop

MISSION

“To conduct STA training in order to allow personnel to prepare for their role in Kabul in 2011”

TASKS

a.  To ensure that all personnel meet the necessary standards in military skills and STA training to deploy to Kabul in 2011.
b.  Maximise training opportunities on Bowman systems

MISSION

“To support the deployment of robust CIS for other 1 (UK) Armd Div formations and units in order to allow them to effectively and efficiently prepare for operational deployments”

TASKS

a.  To maintain equipment to a level of readiness commensurate with the operational tempo;
b.  To conduct and provide driver training support so that the maximum amount of personnel are driver trained;
c.  To provide training and support on Bowman systems;
d.  BPT to provide real life support to 1 (UK) ADSR.
