CVHQ was formed in October 2001 to look after Royal Signals TA specialists. CVHQ Royal Signals also looks after the Royal Signals FTRS and Mobilisation effort.

 

FTRS

Full Time Reserve Service allows qualified members of the Territorial Army and Regular Reservists to serve with the Regular Army.

 

LIAG(V)

The Land Information Assurance Group (Volunteers) are a group of IT Specialists who provide high level management and IS support across the Army.

 

LICSG

LICSG has its HQ at the Basil Hill site in Corsham and is a National TA unit which responds rapidly to tasks around the world. It supports current and new LAN/WAN military secure infrastructures and Comms/Internet technologies. LIAG(V)

81 Signal Squadron (Volunteers)

The role of the squadron is the design and installation of communications systems, including voice and data circuits over cable and optical fibre.

 

Specialist Pool

Members of the Royal Signals TA often have skills that are desirable to the Regular Army. The Specialist Pool allows the Army to use the TA for specialist tasks. An announcement will be made shortly detailing who and how these specialists will be employed.
