12th Mechanised Brigade Headquarters and Signal Squadron (228)
The Squadron is based at Bulford Camp, supporting the 12th Mechanized Brigade. 12 Mechanized Brigade Headquarters and Signal Squadron (228) formed on 1 September 1999 as a result of the Strategic Defence Review.
Squadron Mission
To provide communication, information system, security and administrative support to Commander 12 Mechanized Brigade and his staff in order that he may prosecute successful operations.

In peacetime the Squadron spends its time, as most other units, training on individual skills or collectively on exercise, maintaining its equipment, playing sport and adventure training, is subject to inspections as well as numerous other tasks.
