"More than 30 officers and soldiers from the Baghdad communications troop have just returned from a very demanding tour supporting British military personnel deployed in Iraq.
"The troop was kept busy throughout the tour fitting and moving communications infrastructure in the Baghdad area. We were also responsible for providing support to over 250 users, including to numerous senior commanders and generals.
"It has been a challenging but rewarding six months away on tour and the troop is now looking forward to a relaxing Christmas and New Year at home with friends and family."
The squadron also presented cheques totalling £4,200 to the Army Benevolent Fund and Help for Heroes. The soldiers raised the money with a series of events including a six-hour swimathon completed in their Army combats and body armour.
