225 Signal Squadron

10 Signal Regiment is a unique Royal Signals Regiment that specialises in providing Information and Communication Services (ICS), Information Assurance (IA) and Electronic Counter Measures (Force Protection) in support of on-going and contingency operations, and other standing tasks.

225 Signal Squadron

Theipval Barracks, Lisburn, Northern Ireland.

The role of the Squadron is to provide Very High Readiness Electronic Counter Measures (Force Protection) training, operational support and specialist expertise to current and contingency operations.

In many circumstances the teams provide ECM (FP) support for platforms, base locations and the dismounted role.

Its soldiers are highly skilled in the installation, maintenance and instruction of all ECM (FP) equipment, as well as the design of interim fits across the spectrum of vehicle types, from civilian 4 x 4 vehicles to Armoured Fighting Vehicles.

Delivery of training and education to the wider Field Army is something that 225 Signal Squadron continually provides. Soldiers regularly run training courses for operator/maintainers, deliver briefs on Pre Deployment and continuation training packages and deploy as the subject matter expert on numerous exercises.
