Human Resources

Like every organisation the Army needs financial, administrative, IT and secretarial skills, wherever it is in the world. You could be a PA to a senior officer or work on multi-million pound projects as part of the management accounts team.

Human Resources

We support operations within the UK, connecting military commanders with their civilian counterparts in the emergency services and local government at times of crisis; such as flooding, industrial strikes and terrorists incidents.

Separately, we also support planned activities too, such as the Olympics, the G8 and NATO summits and more recently the Commonwealth Games. Outwith our role supporting national operations within the UK, many of our team have seen service working alongside side our paired Regular Army unit; 2 Signal Regiment in York.

This service includes tours of duty in the Balkans, Iraq, Afghanistan as well as exercises and short deployments to the US, the Falklands, Canada, Norway, Kenya, South Africa, Australia and Nepal. We use some of the latest military and off-the-shelf communications and IT equipment provided the worlds leading manufactures such as General Dynamics, Hewlett Packard, Dell, British Telecom, Vodafone, and Inmarsat.
By joining 32 Signal Regiment, you will gain professional ICT qualifications and competencies as well as military leadership experience gained within the UK and overseas. For those that have the necessary skills already, you will have a chance to specialise in niche cyber and information assurance roles.
