The Band of the Royal Corps of Signals

The Band of the Royal Corps of Signals is permanently based in Blandford Forum, Dorset, home to the Royal Corps of Signals. It is a versatile musical force able to compete with any similar organization worldwide.

The Band is able to provide an extra dimension to any military, corporate or civil occasion. It has travelled extensively including trips to:

  • Bosnia
  • Canada
  • Cyprus
  • Czech Republic
  • Denmark
  • France
  • Italy
  • Germany
  • Pakistan

Within the UK the Band has performed at many high profile ceremonial duties such as Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle. It also regularly performs concerts across the South West of England, raising funds for Forces Charities including ABF The Soldiers' Charity, Help For Heroes and The Poppy Appeal.

The Band's diverse ensembles comprise:

  • Marching Band
  • Concert Band
  • Dixie Band
  • Soul Band
  • Ensembles

The Band also works with the Royal Signals White Helmets Motorcycle Display Team, the Pipes and Drums of the Royal Corps of Signals, and the Royal Signals Freefall Parachute Display Team, performing around the world.

Summer Academy RMSM

The Corps of Army Music is once again running a Summer Academy for musicians. The event will be held at the Royal Miltiary School of Music, near Twickenham from 4 - 10 August 2013.

Last year places on the course went very quickly so seure your place now.
