Barmine
The British Army do not use anti-personnel mines, however they do use the Anti-Tank mines to prevent the enemy's freedom of movement. The Barmine can be fitted with a variety of fuses and can be hand laid or mechanically laid, using the Barmine Layer.
Barmines have also been utilised in recent operations, such as Operation HERRICK in Afghanistan and Operation TELIC in Iraq, to carry out explosive breaching to destroy or gain explosive entry to buildings.
