Titan is arguably the fastest, best protected and most broadly capable armoured bridge laying tank in the world. It can carry one 26 metre long bridge or two 12 metre long bridges which are capable of carrying the heaviest battle tanks.

The bridges are made from very high specification special steel which makes them light but strong. They are launched from the tank using a very powerful series of computer controlled hydraulic rams operated by the driver. In less then two minutes from arriving at the bridging site, Titan can deploy a bridge over obstacles in a hostile environment, enabling fighting forces to advance and fight even when faced with broad and difficult obstacles.

It is possible to lay connecting bridges to form a combination bridge to cross wider or more complex obstacles quickly. Titan can not only lay these bridges but pick them up again once they have been crossed, so that they can be used again. To assist the crew of three Armoured Engineers in positioning, laying and recovering the bridges, there is a suite of on board remote CCTV cameras that also assist operations at night. All this can be achieved without the crew being required to leave the protection of the vehicle.

Titan can operate in extremes of hot and cold climates and also in hazardous environments. With its large bridge and dozer blade attached, Titan is the biggest and heaviest armoured vehicle in the world!
