Royal Engineers Insight Course

The Royal Engineers Insight Course takes place once a month at Gibraltar Barracks near Camberley, Surrey. The aim of the course is to assist in getting a better understanding of what the Royal Engineers can offer as a career. The course takes place over 5 days (Monday to Friday) and is structured to provide a mixture of informative presentations and practical events covering a wide range of typical Royal Engineers activities. Attendance on the course is the ideal way of getting exposure to the wide variety of job roles and career alternatives in order to make a more informed career decision.

If you are aged between 15 (academic Year 11) and 32 and would like to know more about what life in the Royal Engineers is like, then visit your local Armed Forces or Army Careers Information Office to book your place on the Royal Engineers Insight course. There is no commitment to join the army and the course is completely free of charge including travel expenses.
