JOB NOTES

Sergeant Carlos Masipina
Combat Engineer

Name: Sergeant Carlos Malaspina, 32
Job: Combat Engineer

"My main reason for joining the Territorials was the travel and the training. In my civilian life I'm an area manager for a bank, but the training I've received as a soldier has helped boost my confidence in my abilities.

Recently I had to make a presentation in front of 700 people, and without the benefit of all my experience in the Army, I'm not sure I could have done it. By becoming a Territorial, I've been able to add something to my life."
