Royal Engineers Continuous Personal Development Team (RE cpd)

Based in Chatham at the Royal School of Military Engineering, the Royal Engineers Continuous Personal Development Team (RE CPD) head office is the driving force behind all RE CPD activity and is directly involved in many qualifications schemes at the Construction Engineer School. Branch offices operate a number of award schemes at the Combat Engineer School in Minley and Engineer Resource Division at DLSS Deepcut.

The RE CPD Team currently has ten staff members across the three sites. The Team supports the provision of qualifications and training in many of the skills areas associated with military engineering, including construction, engineering and telecommunications.

Other activities include administering award and bursary schemes for particular groups of Royal Engineers personnel and conducting research and development. This last has included leading the development of standards and qualifications in explosives, munitions and search occupations.
